There are over 6000 student athletes  who participate in sports in the Boulder Valley School District each year.  As with any sport there is a risk of injury.  Many families cannot afford the cost of healthcare if their son or daughter is injured playing their sport.   

Proceeds from THE BVSD MAY MADNESS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT will go to injured BVSD athletes who cannot afford needed healthcare and treatment that may be necessary beyond the high school athletic training room.  


CU Sports Medicine and Performance Center and Boulder Community Health partner with the Boulder Valley School District to provide certified athletic trainers at the 6 major high schools in Boulder county.  With your support, CU, BCH and BVSD can help these student athletes get back to their sport quickly and safely without a large financial stress to their family.

The past tournaments have been a huge success!  The caliber of basketball was amazing with many past and present D1 basketball players participating along with numerous BVSD basketball alumni.
